I ____________, as a concerned Canadian citizen, urge you to demand an immediate
end to Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people and demand Israel's withdrawal
from the Palestinian occupied territories.
The crimes committed by
the Israeli army under the direction of Prime Minister Sharon are crimes against
humanity and defy the fundamental principles of justice and international law.
We urge you to press Israel to uphold international laws and abide by the provisions
of the 4th Geneva Convention regarding citizens under occupation. Peace and occupation
cannot co-exist.
I, call on the Government
of Canada to respond to Israel's continuing non-compliance with the rule of Law
by joining the international community in the censure and sanction of the illegal
Israeli occupation and colonization of the West Bank and Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem.
- Put an end to Palestinian
suffering.
- Stop the terror against
Palestinian children, women and men.
- Demand an immediate withdrawal
of Israeli occupying forces from the occupied Palestinian territories.
- Pressure the Israeli government
to abide by all international laws.
- Send an international
peace keeping mission to the occupied Palestinian territories.
- Send a Canadian delegation
to investigate the war crimes committed by the Israeli army in Jenin refugee camp
and in the City of Nablus.
- Impose economic sanctions
on Israel by following the principles already established in the case of Apartheid
South Africa.
Canada must uphold her values
of peace and human rights and distinguish herself as a voice of reason and justice
at a time when most have failed to do so.
